Feb 28 of 2010 brought out 13 shooters to FRISCO CITY for a fun filled
day of Cowboy Action Shooting. Five Stages were chosen to be the targets
for the day. Starting at the Bath House, all 13 of us got through that stage without to much of a problem. The Bank had the rifle being shot through the vault door which some of us lost time due to the fact that you had to move from the window to get there. Just a little rusty in our movements do to the long spell of non-shooting weather. The General Store was straight forward and fast. At the Gun Shop everything was shot right to left which was good because most stages are shot left to right. Doesn't sound like much but it can foul you up. At the Hotel the piano player got shot first with the toy cap gun then you unloaded on the steel targets. Also, there was a shotgun side match with a bird & 2 hip shots. We had 2 visitors, Jessie Henderson and his wife. After seeing "Cowboys" on TV they wanted to see it in person. Until next time, Mud Puppy |
